Falling on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar, it is also known as the Moon Festival, as it celebrates the roundest and brightest moon of the year. Central to this celebration is the Mooncake, a delectable pastry filled with sweet fillings like red bean or lotus seed paste. Sharing these treats symbolizes unity and togetherness.
